Hi all,
I'm looking to make some bespoke sleeved cables for my EVGA GM 550w SFX PSU, but I cannot find the correct pinout diagram. Ones that I've found online show the pin order for the 24 pin (motherboard side) to be different to my stock cable. I'm guessing this might be due to differences in compatibilities between US and UK PSUs, but I could be wrong.

Are there differences in 24 pins between the US and UK versions?
Does anyone have a pinout for the UK version of this PSU?
How does one work out the pinout without a guide?

Thanks in advance.

Since the Cable Set is the same for the BA/B3/B5/G2/G3/G5/GP/GM/P2/PQ and T2 units, then the pinout is the same as well..There is no pinout difference between US and UK PSUs, the component-end pinout is industry-standard as specified by Intel.

Here is the pinout for G2/P2/T2/G3/B3 units.

Myself, I would definately verify that using a Digital Multimeter.

See How do I test my power supply? in the EVGA FAQs about how to turn the unit on for standalone testing using either the EVGA Self Tester or the Paperclip Test to jump 24pin connector terminals 16 (PS-ON) to any ground terminal..Using the ohms function of a Digital Multimeter you can find out where the PS-ON and ground pins are located on the PSU and just connect those two using a suitable jumper..Checking/making your own pinout diagram should be no biggie.

Turning on the unit on for standalone testing will allow you to check terminals for the power and grounds using a common $10 Digital Multimeter.

Thanks Bob, this is great.

It was quite late when I was doing all this research and reading of pinouts, and I failed to notice the label "Rear View" on the pinout diagram and was looking at my stock cable face-on

Thanks for the clarification!
