Why does my active status say "False"? I signed up on 10/14/2020 for a 3080 FTW3 ULTRA and have been waiting ever since.

Waited almost a year. EVGA stopped making the hybrids sadly and I'm virtually next in line for months now for that, which is my preferred card.

Reading this thread, it looks Like my joining the queue for a 3080 in January was way to late, and a waste of my time, and I had set 2022, as my might as well wait for next gen, cut off.
Been using my EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW2 Gaming - 08G-P4-6686-KR since March 2017. Good card, except for Ray Tracing.
Then after resisting Scalpers for many months, I saw a EVGA GeForce GTX 3080Ti FTW3 Gaming - 12G-P5-3967-KR on Amazon.

Not even been chasing after cards, it just showed up in my once a month look and see that nothing is available quick checks.
Marked at £1,560.05, but unavailable in UK. However, for the first time since the 30 Series launched, I saw two EVGA cards were actually freely available, but only from Amazon EU, and that added £312.01 of Import duties (Thanks Brexiteers)
That puts the cost up to £1,872.06, more than I wanted to pay, but experience has told me to expect to pay roughly £=$ for components in UK, regardless of the actual exchange rates, and that import duty would still have been applied
Current US price is $1429.99, so I've only payed about the going rate.
Lesson, don't just rely on EVGA queue, the EVGA cards are popping up now, even if you're not actively chasing every rumour, including the hard to get 3080, and above.

I have been in the queue since "10/4/2020 7:14:25 AM PT" I had 5 cards selected for auto notify hoping one would pop. They removed 3 of the cards so now will only notify for 2 cards. I still can't believe it's been this long and no end insite. I am telling myself that I may as well wait for a 4080 now, but will probably end up in the same position... in a queue waiting...

No they havn't, I have seen about six people report getting them in the last few weeks. The queue jumped about 2 minutes all up, from about 9:15am to 9:17am or so for the 3888 (just off the top of my head) I'm at 9:20 myself.

I have a friend who entered the regular 3080 FTW3 Ultra queue back when I got my pc earlier this year in February, he still has not popped yet, my 3080 FTW3 Ultra I was in step-up for 280 days, in the middle of my step-up my Queue for a 3080 TI FTW3 Ultra popped. So the Step-up won the race.
