On Precision X1 v1.1.5, I have my GPU LEDs set based on GPU temperature. This was working fine prior to V1.1.5, but now, randomly, my card will go back to rainbow LEDs and seemingly ignore the GPU temp setting even though on Precision v1.1.5 it's still configured that way.
Anyone else getting this issue with their cards? I must say I'm disappointed with Precision X1. There seems to be issues with every release and QA seems nonexistent.

yes i had it yesterday and the fan ramping up and down may well see if I can go back to 1.1.4

Having the same issue with 1.1.5, 1.1.4 did not have that issue.

Precision X1 has been plagued with various bugs for a while now, which don't seem to be fixed. Profiles getting erased upon reboot, fan 3 not ramping down for me, and Precision X1 just not saving things I set, fan curve included... I don't understand.

Same here, getting really annoyed with it. Just going to roll back to the previous version for now. How do you screw up something that was already fine?

Welp, never mind. I'm assuming the older versions are no longer compatible with the newer firmware that 1.1.5 updated my card to... Nothing before the latest version will even open.

Try removing 1.1.5 first and clearing folders. I rolled back to 1.1.4 and it's working normally. Not sure if it's going to keep the RGB settings though since I just rolled back a few mins ago after trying everything on 1.1.5 to no avail. I'll update on that later. I did notice a couple of things: - Updating 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 seemed to work initially, but when troubleshooting I removed 1.1.5 completely and reinstalled and I noticed the UI changed, so the initial upgrade was not really successful. - Installing clean 1.1.5 didn't solve the RGB/fan reset problem. Rainbow Puke came back constantly. - I was able to install 1.1.4 over a CLEAN installation of 1.1.5. I haven't tried a clean 1.1.4. -- Update: 1.1.4 has been working without problems for a few hours now. It looks like the issue is in Precision X1 1.1.5 and not in the new card firmware.

I'm seriously tempted to just disable auto-updates for Precision X1 altogether. Nothing good ever comes out of it. It sucks that we have to rely on it for proper fan and LED control on our cards.

I'm having the same issue with 1.1.6. Restarting X1 fixes it, until it goes rainbow again.

Yo reviving an ancient thread because I STILL HAVE THIS ISSUE AND NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO FIX IT. UNBELIEVABLE. I'm on 1.1.9 and I've had this issue for months. This is absolutely riduclous. Did anyone find a solution to this. PLEASE TELL ME! On top of RMAs, I'm ready to scalp this thing and try for a Strix or Aorus model instead.

JUST TO KEEP ADDING...I having the exact issues as everyone else. After playing a game for awhile, the LEDs 'forget' the configuration, no matter what it is it seems (I like using Temperature for all) and start running (default) rainbow. In addition, though it's gotten a little better, it will not load my profile on occasion. Lastly, on the first issue, weirdly, it seems to be now coinciding with the hitching that many others experience with the 3000 series. I can fix the LED issue by restarting Precision, but I have to restart my PC to resolve the hitching issue (again, which lasts for a hour or so).

I have the same issue as well. EVGA support suggested uninstalling iCUE. This did not help. I just RMAed the first card and now card 2 does the same thing: LEDs go from 'Temperature' to 'Rainbow Wave' and will not respond to changes until PX1 is restarted. I tried PX1 1.1.8.0, 1.1.9.0, and 1.2.0.0.

Still happening to me, too. It's times like this I really wish I landed a Strix card instead. I just can't understand why it's so hard to fix the resetting RGB and fan profile problem. It's been months and I don't even think anyone from EVGA has f---ing acknowledged it.
Instead, we get new versions of Precision meant to fix something else entirely but end up making the "something-else" problem worse! The latest version actually gave me the missing DLL problem it was meant to fix; which I never had before. So I'm still on 1.1.9.
