Since I am using WebEx for University, I sometimes have some weird sound distortion issues.
This mostly happens, when the prof. is using a mobile phone for recording sound.
I had the same issue with Teamspeak, but that was fixed by you guys some time ago.

Same question as Shiny49: will there be another driver update soon? The Nu Audio card drivers bring down my machine regularly. They fail if you so much as log out and log back in. And they still don't have any clue how to handle bass properly (i.e., sending it to the C/Sub channel) with a 5.1 mix. Your hardware is great, but the drivers desperately need work.

I have the same problem. Nu Audio Pro card does not work when I restart my machine. The only way i can get it to work is to uninstall the driver and app and reinstall it. This is the only way and it was getting old so I have only used the audio on my motherboard. This is really disconcerting because I bought this mainly because I make and mix music using studio monitors. I also game and watch movies so it would be nice to have the better quality but I really didn't need to spend the money on this if it cannot be used. I feel like a chump because I was boasting to my PC building part of my clan about how EVGA has such a great customer service. Then this. Please fix these issues.

Hey EVGA lovers, DEVs and supports of the board.

I've just recived my brand new EVGA Nu Audio Pro 7.1 and installed it.
After a view minutes I was confused because I've lost a feature that any soundcard/interface I had before was gone..

I am missing the "Mic. monitoring"-feature.. I want to know if my Mic. is on..
How good people can hear/understand me, and do hear how I have to setup my headset..

This is a very big deal for me and I would be very dissapointed if I have to hand them back to Amazon (buyed directly from EVGA over Amazon)..
Why is that feature not available to me?

Is there any old driver with that feature?
Please help me before I ragequit the EVGA family..

There is no mic monitoring, it's been a requested feature since release.

Been happy so far with the 7.1 settings, but noticed something off today when playing music tracks; there was absolutely no signal being sent to the sub (no matter what was the player source). When I play a high def movie or use the DVD player the bass is outstanding. I never had this problem using the onboard audio on the Z390; It would at least revert to a 2.1 system. Is this card designed this way or am I missing something in setup?

That is me in the picture, anyone else ever pet a live Lion?

Bass steering/management has been on the wish list since the NU Audio Pro was introduced. EVGA has said it's something they intend to look into, but there's no telling if/when it actually will be implemented in the driver.

You can work around the limitation by disabling Nahimic and activating Windows' built-in bass management (maybe that's what the Z390 was using?), but you lose NU's EQ functionality, and Windows bass management doesn't work with all audio APIs.

Actually I used a Realtek app and it works great. The win 10 is just basic.

Thanks jll544. I sent your post to EVGA support on my ticket. They still think it's a bad card, so I am playing the game and sending my new card(s) back. I am now on the Z390 Realtek onboard audio and everything is working fine including the sub output. I have doubts it's a bad card but we shall see and I will report back here.

We are now going near to one year, without driver update. I do not really have any problem, which cause the need of a new driver, but some other mates seems massive problems and im wondering, why the high end sound card model, wont support correctly anymore?

I know RTX3xxx might be more importaned, because got more money, but we all buy EVGA soundcards, because of hardware and software. But software really seems to be stucked

-Mic monitoring
-Bass managment (crossover slider + option to choose which speaker is full range and what speaker is not)

I looks to me like the pro version has been discontinued, no updates for 10 months, they say its not but I think they just want to sell stock

So after installing the replacement 7.1 RMA boards, nothing has changed. However, I did learn when playing mp4 videos using the win 10 default player, I did not have any audio signal going to the sub. When using my Power DVD Ultra player, the sub channel was fine. Perhaps there are settings in the windows player to take care of it; have not really looked into it.
What really concerns me is all mp3 files play only full channel to the front speakers, even when using the Power DVD app. This does not happen when using the Z390 onboard audio. Sent a new ticket in about 20 hours ago and no response yet.
