I saw that was upcoming & even though I played alot of it the first few years ... I haven't played  in awhile.
I wonder if it links with your existing profile ?... so I don't have to unlock everything all over again .?

I was pretty surprised how good both this and battlefront 1 look. Not really a huge fan of the gameplay but seeing my favorite star wars settings rendered so beautifully is worth another try methinks.

    Thanks for the heads up!

    Current Build:
    Ryzen 9 3900XT
    Arctic 420mm AIO
    MSI MEG x570 ACE
    32 GB Trident Z Neo CL16 3600mhz DDR4
    EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0

    Thermaltake Level 20 XT

    Best quote I've ever heard:
Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.

Battlefront II was really good.  Battlefront I was almost exclusively multi player...where Battlefront II had a single player campaign...which was decent.  Graphically...both good.

MSI MAG X670-E Tomahawk;  Ryzen 7 7800X3D; Asus TUF RTX 4070 TI OC; Seasonic Vertex GX-1000 PSU; 32 GB  Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 RGB; Corsair iCue Link H150i RGB 360MM AIO; 2-Western Digital Black 4 TB SN850X NVMe; Creative SoundBlaster Z;  Lian Li Lancool III; EVGA Z15 Keyboard; Razer Viper 8K Mouse

Awesome.  I assumed it was multiplayer only.  I got my free copy from epic and now am more likely to give it a go.

I just don't understand why getting this through the Epic store also forced me to install Origin to play it.  So now when I start the game it has both the Epic and Origin launchers running in the background. It's seem like some unnecessary additional processes going for no good reason.  Maybe there's another shortcut I can launch from in the Origin folder and bypass Epic? Just thought of that.

Looks like the free game has overwhelmed servers

I am not aware of a shortcut.  I can say that after you launch the game you can close the Epic launcher with no issue whatsoever, it does not need to be running in the background while you play.
