I see a lengthy list of features for my RTX 2080 but I was looking at what else it can do besides playing games.

I am aware of NVENC which seems to work slightly better than my CPU for transcoding video. Is NVENC multi card friendly for multiple threads or encoders?

I use Blender and I was wondering if there was any way to better leverage my RTX 2080 with that type of software. I also use Avid which also is very demanding.

Lot of other ideas such as weather modelling and molecular analysis are just a couple of ideas that never made the literature.

So anybody got any ideas on how to leverage NVIDIA Turing to best advantage?

Whether or not an application can use two GPUs for NVENC at the same time is really down to the application. That's a question best asked of the Blender team.

It seems like the answer is yes, but it's best to verify with them directly.
