Fans only seem to run if I manually turn them on in Precision X1

I just installed the 3080 XC3 Ultra on my first PC build, and I noticed through both NZXT CAM and Precision X1 that the fans do not appear to ever automatically turn on. If I manually set the fan speed they will spin, but on the "auto" setting they just sit at 0 - is there something I'm missing?

CPU: Intel Core i9-10850K
CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken X73
MB - MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI
RAM - 32GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200MHz
GPU - EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA
SSD - Samsung 970 EVO Plus
PSU - XPG Core Reactor 850W Gold
Case - NZXT H710i (Black)
Monitor - LG 27GL850

    Never spin under load? Or is this at idle?
