Is there any way via firewall rules or something to block this spyware from phoning home and if so are there any factors to consider?

For example, set it up as Guest and get the initial config out of the way. Then go and block it’s internet access.

This guy says that even after NZXT promised to trim its data collection it still sent 9 gigs of info back home over the course of a month.

Okay, so we block CAM in windows firewall, what happens to the 9 gigs of data? Am I going to lose 120 gigs of drive space per year as the thing collects all its data but sits unable to send it off?
