Welp. I kept salivating over the chance to do a full rebuild for the first time in 5 years. Wife is due next month; so it was go-big and sit on the same hardware for close to a decade because kids are stupid expensive. Coming from an i7 6700K | 16GB Corsair DDR4 3000 | EVGA 2070 Super Black | ASUS Pro Z170 So here's the final build: AMD Ryzen 5900X - Being cooled by a Phanteks Glacier One 240MPH Paired with 64GB G-Skill Neo-Z DDR4 3600 and a Samsung 980 Pro M2 SSD. Graphics being handled by the gigantic MSI 3080 SUPRIM It includes a support stand and bar to stop the sag. All on an ASUS ROG Strix X570 motherboard stuffed (barely) inside a NZXT S340. Even with that tiny little gap I'm still managing to keep CPU temps under 65C and GPU temps are holding in the 50-55C range. EDIT: Thanks for moving and letting me know nobody else could see the first pic CoolGTX. Also, this is the first time I've ever owned a non-EVGA card. Dating all the way back to the 7600 GT!!

Thanks Cool. Folding is up and going for tonight. We have a Lamaze class in the morning and then I can get to really pushing this thing on benchmarks. Currently sitting at 68C CPU & 65C GPU with F @ H running full bore for 2 hours: Can't wait to see what it'll do with some other software stress tests...

So ran a few benchmarks; at completely stock to see what things would look like: Cinebench R23: Time Spy: Fire Strike Extreme: Heaven 4.0: Gotta say I'm pretty happy with stock scores and don't know if I'll bother to tweak all that much. Temps stayed right in the range I wanted/expected and the auto-boost on the CPU got up to 4.95GHz while staying under 70C.

Not touching; there's about a millimeter of space between them!!

That's really nice looking, you did a great job on it. I like the looks of the CPU cooler. You should try to make a Mods rig profile. I said try, because it can be finicky at times. +1 Best wishes to you and your wife, hope everything goes well for the both of you. Kids are one of the best things in life.....depending on age. LOL!

Thanks. It's all getting transferred into an O11D case tomorrow, to alleviate the airflow issue. Kid is now only at maximum, a month away. So this is gonna be the last build/upgrade until he graduates college

OK, so, wife got reallllll sick and tired of the wind-tunnel effect that was coming out of the NZXT S340 due to the cramped nature and limited airflow from the fans; so she actually green-lit me spending more money on a new case & accessories. So now everything's moved into a Lian Li O11-Dynamic: Yes, there were literally only 2 of the new Lian Li Uni-Flo fans left on Newegg when I placed my order (had 5 in the cart when I tried to check out). Now this thing's running so cool & quiet my GPU fans don't even turn on right at boot up anymore. Nor does it sound like a harrier jet.

OK, rig finally matches the title. We are all built out and completed. 3 SL-120 intake from the bottom, another 3 for side exhaust, and then the Phanteks also exhausting air out of the case. Since getting the bottom 3 fans installed the GPU is running 6-8C cooler and the CPU hasn't yet hit 60C under load.... and the whole thing is whisper quiet.
