So I was going to put a water cooler on my GPU and it turns out I was sent the wrong Cooler that isn't compatible with my card, and I had the screws in a little baggie but I can't find it at all and think it may have gotten tossed out.

So I was wondering how to get new screws for it, either by buying them at a hardware store or whatever.

Let me know thanks everybody.

You probably should take the card and cooler to a hardware store and ask them to help you out.

I have a bunch of spare screws from a bunch of difference cards and it would be impossible for me to tell you which screws are for which card.  The most fool-proof solution is properly measuring and fitting them with physical options in-hand.

    Welcome to the forums.

All I can tell you is to see What size are the screws used to attach the stock cooler to the video card? in the EVGA FAQs.

"The smaller screws are a M2.5 5mm, while the larger screws with the springs are M2.5 6.9mm."

Search around, I seen some plain screws on Amazon..Good luck finding the ones with springs though..Best bet might be to bop on into a local PC repair shop and see if they have some new or from an old junk card.

You need 10 more posts, then you can PM me. I have a full screw set just sitting here that should work for you. I will put them in a baggy and mail them to you, but you can’t lose this baggy, because it is the only set I have spare.
