Hello, Today while gaming on my system, my ups shut down and started showing overvolt. I have had no issues with this ups and have had it for about 3 years or so so fairly new. I thought may just be a spike but it did it again after I got back into the game.

I started doing some research on this and found out that my power supply maybe going bad? I have the powersupply thats listed in the subject line. My +12V is hovering around 10.032V according to hardware monitor pro and will dip down to 9.944V also. I am not up on power supply's but I remember reading something that the +12V should not flucuate below 12 very much.

So question is, do I have a power supply going out, or a bad UPS?

I've also noticed that since I put in my new graphics card It will power up and then drop down in the AMD software.

Full Specs are below for System

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Ok, tried brand new cables to video card and different spots on the psu. Still hovering around 10.120 on the +12V,

I'm going to swap my old gtx 1080 in and see if that makes a difference in the voltages or not. I'll post back in a bit cause I DDU can take a minute to clean everything off.

So, I put the GTX 1080 back in, loaded up the current driver for it etc. Voltage is exactly the same on the +12V, 10.120 to a dip of 10.032
The cpu is plugged directly into the wall. Should I plug the ups back in and see if it does it again, or is the consensus I have a bad power supply that needs to be RMA'd?

Looks to be a Bad PSU

If the only new device was the GPU ... you removed that

Did you make any other changes ?   All PSU cables are the stock ones / came with PSU

Yes, the only thing I changed just now was the gpu. It's out of the picture and put the old faithful GTX 1080 back in which has been a workhorse till last month.

The PSU cables came out of the bag that my power supply came with, they still had twisty ties on them lol. I removed the old gpu power cables and put the new ones in different spots that weren't being used. So I'm thinking RMA time. Thank god for EVGA 10yr warranty on these things.

Any other advice before I get ready to tear this all down?

Well I started the process, so I'm sure when they all get back in the office on Monday I'll have it approved and get it shipped off this week. For now I will pull my 750 watt out of my other build and use this.

ok, so after a complete teardown and reinstall of a new power supply along with windows I installed ELEET along with hardware monitor pro. pulling both up a the same time shows that one reads exactly as it did yesterday on old power supply, however Eleet shows +12V within range. So which one do I believe, is there really something wrong with other PSU? Could this be a board issue?

HW Monitor shows 10.120V on +12.

Very confused at this point. Any ideas?

    Inaccurate software reading most likely.

    Multimeter (best reading possible)
    Bios reading (second best)
Software readings eleet, hwmonitor, etc. (worst)

I don't have a multimeter. Though that is on my list of PC tools I need.

The bios shows solid +12V on this power supply, going to tear it down and install the 1300G2 and see what Bios says. I'll post back when I have updates.

ok, put the 1300 G2 back in. Bios shows solid +12V. I have everything at stock settings currently and gamed for 2 hours straight on it with no issues. At this point I'm going to cancel the RMA and see how it goes, ill put my overclocks back on this week and see if that does anything to change the situation. At this point I have to believe HW Monitor is not showing the correct +12V and going to believe the bios. Thanks for all who helped, I'll post back here later this week and update on overclocks.

ok, set the overclocks back up on the CPU and GPU. Ran it through some gaming tonight no issues what so ever. Took a look at the sensors from GPU-Z, highest power draw for the card was 271.0 W, which is in spec for the RX 6800XT, and Voltage was highest at 1.150V.

Look's solid to me and I'm getting some of my best scores on 3DMark benches.

I appreciate the help from everyone here, was very good insight. Now, I have to decide the hard thing, If I stick with the RX 6800XT or buy the 3080 FTW Ultra when my time in que pops from EVGA. That will be a debate!
