CPU Solutions is an authorized reseller for EVGA. They have the 3070 ftw 3 in stock marked up to 799.99+shipping. Can I essentially purchase this and step up to a 3080. Pay the $10 tax difference EVGA has their 809.99 msrp at + shipping to upgrade when the 3080 comes in stock?

    As long as you are purchasing from an authorized retailer, you should be able to step up. The cost will be price difference, cost of shipping, and taxes.

    1. So it should be price difference, $10+tax+shipping?
    or
    2. tax of 809.99+ price difference $10+shipping correct?
     
    Cause if it's option 2, ends up being pretty much getting scalped prices since you also still have to wait in queue.
