I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti iCX GAMING that will be 3 years old next week. The fans are starting to get slightly noisy and I have to run them at 100% to keep the GPU under 70C while running COD Cold War and the boost clock at ~1810. Is it time to clean and replace the thermal paste? If so, is there anything specific I need to know about doing it on this particular model? I've installed hundreds of CPUs over the years, but only very rarely have done this on a GPU... and never on one this complicated with all the iCX sensors. I have plenty of MX-2 paste in stock. Will it be adequate?
TIA
