Hello,
Some month ago(about 3), I got an RTX 2070 SUPER FTW3 ULTRA.
I'm really satisfied of the performance and the card itslef seems also well build and have lot of nice faeatures...
But it crashes really a lot! Essentially I get BSODs really randomly (like PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA or DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER or some other atm I dont remember all), I tested my RAM, updated drivers as I much I can and do every thing I can but still crashing...
My config was:

ASUS TUF B450M PLUS
Ryzen 5 2600 (no OC)
32 GB crucial ballistix sport (8x4)
Seasonic FOCUS GX 650
FTW3 ULTRA RTX 2070 SUPER

With my previous card(Asus DUAL RX 580 8GB) I never got any issue...
I installed nvidia driver using before DDU.

The crashes seems frequently especially with heavy load RTX games(that I play 1440p), like Shasdow of the Tomb Raider(here I got really much BSODs), I got some crash also with METRO Exoduss(here crash to desktop not BSODs), also get crashes(BSODs and crash to desktop) with Apex Legends where I play 1080p to get as much as fps I can...

With light games like "Ori and blind forest" for example I havent got any crash (also no crash with "Remnant from the Ashes" just to say).

I also got some weird BSOD while watching video with Chrome(rarely but got some)

Sorry for long message...but anyone can help me? If any help I only can open RMA...

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like driver corruption  & /or a  weak power supply also.
How old is the psu ?   Might want to look in to an upgrade...

...and I would manually uninstall every amd video driver/ program  -> restart
then uninstall every Nvidia driver/ physX / geforce experience program.../ - > restart
then let windows install the drivers thru windows update first.... -> restart after
then download the latest nvidia driver set  , select clean install & only the video driver and the Physx
DO NOT install Geforce Experience ...

    Hi,
    thank you for reply.
The PSU was new, only 5 months old...and also meets power suply reccomendation for the board so dont think was its fault...

For the manually uninstall drivers how to do? Simply throught windows installed programs? I always get recomendation to use DDU...

Sounds like bad ram. Use the system with one stick of ram at a time until you find the bad one. If you believe the new card is the issue put the old one back in and use the system for awhile to see what happens.

Yes, just use the uninstall feature in windows  'add/remove programs'
&  also make sure you have the latest motherboard BIOS installed from ASUS   ,  along with the up to date chipset drivers for your AMD platform ( B450m) ( best place is AMD.com )

    Hello,
I've done some tests, using Precision X1 I'0ve donwclocked GPU RAM AND CORE starting from:

    1 - RAM -50 CLOCK -85
    2 - RAM -25 CLOCK -45
    3 - RAM normal CLOCK -45

Well...in all  that cases seems that no crash anymore...I tested "1" for a week "2" for 2 days and "3" that afternoon with Shadow of the Tomb Raider the much crashing game I tested...

I'll continue testing case "3" for the rest of the week...than add a case "4" with -25 at CORE clock and test for another 4/5 days...

ATM seems tha my GPU chip cant run safely overclocked at full "ULTRA" speed...

BTW If was only that the problem I dont think an RMA have any reason...the preformance gain was nonsense for so few Mhz...

    What do you think?

Well,  if it doesn't work at normal speeds now ... that means something is not good inside.
How much longer before the underclocking needs to be lowered, & lowered & lowered. ...?

Great that it works for now by underclocking , but eventually sounds like you should RMA it .  Pick a best time for you and get it going  -

    Well...
I stared from case 1 to have a solid start point than returned back to original values till the cae 3 with ram in original values and gpu only downcloked by 45MHz...no need to dwonclock it much...maybe I missexplain? Sorry my english wasnt so good.

Since the board was quite new(only few months of life) maybe RMA wasnt so i hurry...I think

BTW...why Precision X1 showing GPU clock at 1920 MHZ? Its normal?

    Hi again,
I can confirm that with also -45MHz at GPU clock I havent crashes anymore...
So...seems that the GPU cant support full boost frequency(maybe a not so good chip?), what do you think?
ATM I thjink that since the differcence was so little I dont need RMA...

I just did an RMA for my card as it was unstable playing more intensive games like COD Blake Ops.  Haven't had any issues since getting my replacement card.

The problem was that I dunno know how much takes an RMA and also if in that weird moment what they do in that case..if substitute(with wich card?) the card or "repair" it...

They would send you the same model or one close to it. I was sent the same model card I had.

I did their cross ship RMA, where a deposit is put down so they ship a replacement to you. Once received then the defective one is shipped back. It took 4 days to get it shipped via UPS ground.  I sent the defective one back UPS ground to them. Once the defective card is processed they refund the deposit.

It should. I'd contact support and go from there.
