Having purchased a z390 dark and a SuperNOVA 1000 T2, 80+ Titanium in the past 3 years I'm a little disappointed to find out that I don't qualify to be an elite member while someone who purchased a gtx 1050 in the last year does.  

Complaining about something while not reading the requirements is a bit silly.

it does seem to be a bit odd that it's so GPU based in the regards to buying into membership, and far less amount spent. all product options are GPU, except for the XR1 steaming device. IMO it would make sense to add in some PSU and motherboards as well, but they haven't for whatever reason.
 
they 100 post requirement does encourage people to spam a bit too, so if more products are possible to be used for it, that would help in regards to spam (granted, I haven't seen a ton of problems with spamming to get elite that, but I have seem them.)

Option 2 expands the qualifications to other devices like motherboards and psu's . . ., but you have to have purchased 2 in the last year. Unfortunately for me, my purchases are 2 and 3 years ago and I didn't need any upgrades in the last year. I was planning on upgrading to the 30 series. I'm just a bit insulted at being locked out of the kingpin 3090. 
 
I'm not really interested in spamming post just to meet the qualifications. Although, given the current availability of 30 series gpu's I may end up reaching 100 post long before I can actually purchase one.

It would be nice right?  In case you missed it in the fine print, 92 more posts will get you to the magic qualifying 100 posts to get Elite membership if you don't plan on buying a GPU that would qualify you anyway with all the recent new launches.

Got to put the work in to post, unless you buy a qualifying product in the right time frame.

Thanks, but I'm not interested in spamming post just for the sake of qualifying. If EVGA doesn't want me to purchase a $2000 gpu from them it's their loss.

Don't feel too bad. I have 4 GPUs, 2 Mobos and a PSU; all from EVGA and I don't qualify. You'd think lifetime of account would matter more than recent purchases but is what it is.

Sorry to hear that. Honestly, I don't understand how they came up with this policy. It's just insulting to faithful customers like you. It makes no sense to me at all.

it's a bit weird that it must have been bought in the past 12 months... I know there are people who replace their rig every two years or every year even, but I do find that a bit too restrictive as well.

It’s a marketing game, but it worked on me by swaying me towards an EVGA power supply and MB I probably would not otherwise have bought.

Yeah I suppose, but I already have an EVGA PSU and MB and I'm not in need of an upgrade. I wonder if they even bother to look at this forum?

This was brutal news. I have an 850w psu and it does not qualify.

Register the psu, if you haven't already. I think they may have changed the policy. I went ahead and registered mine (and my mobo) even though they didn't qualify according to what was listed at the time. Surprisingly, when I checked back a month or so later it said I qualified.
 
I hope it works out for you. Seems like they're doing the right thing, especially under current circumstances, and honoring those purchases as well.
