Would this set up be ok or will this blow too much hot air into the case for the cpu to handle ?

It CAN work but it will raise the temps of everything else since it will be dumping the warmed air from the rad into the case as fresh air. Is it a good idea? Not unless your using a very cool running mobo chipset/cpu/ram and not overclocking either. The gpu's pcb components would probably be ok with the slighly warmer air though. Id look for a different solution, like custom modding case, new case, different setup for rad...maybe put it on the outside back.

That does give me the idea of trying to front mount it as exhaust, then reverse all the other fans, to more or less have the airflow working "backwards", which might be odd, but if it's all working together, should be possible.
top or rear mounting I'm thinking would be best, assuming you have the options to do that. (as the radiator is 240mm, rear mounting options may be rare.)

I don’t know what case you are using, but I have typically had good results with intake fans on the bottom and radiator exhaust on the top and either front or back.  Front has actually worked pretty well since there’s usually no chance of it becoming obstructed.  Intake via through the radiators is of course bound to increase the internal temps.

Like others have mentioned, I would try exhaust. I have an NH-D15 on my 5800X blowing upwards in a Silverstone FT05, with the Hybrid radiator above/outside of my case and none of that heat ever enters my case.

I had the same concerns with my 3080, then I realized that even without the hybrid kit I still have a 350w GPU exhausting heat inside my case. I got my hybrid kit the other day and so far temps seem to max at around 59c under load on my gpu and my cpu temps which is under a noctua nh D-14 stayed virtually the same after the install. Maybe 1c or so higher. If you can exhaust go for it, but front intake won't kill you

cars run with outside air going over radiators all of the time. Just have a good exhaust setup too. Your motherboard and components are not going to notice 10 c difference at all. The ones that matter, your cpu (which is aio cooled?) and the gpu which is water-cooled also, get the benefit.
