Obviously you haven't been reading the latest Ryzen zen processor reviews. The new 5XXX series processors are beating Intel. Intel won't have a better chip for several months. 

Rocket Lake is Q1'21  and 14nm, not going to fly...  supposedly Intel is launching 10nm Alder Lake desktop parts in Q4, but by then it will be facing Zen 4. Definitely know which is the safe horse in that race, and it isn't Intel.

They really need to get on board with AMD. Intel screwed up bad. They have no PCIe 4 supports and virtually none of their processors have more than 16 lanes. I have been an intel fan for years but I have a 3090 and a nvme drive running at PCI 3, drives and cards bottlenecking the DMI channel and with nothing in sight for support of PCI 4, I am switching to a Ryzen and a X570 chipet.

I think Evga as a small company should stick to one platform. They might be just not big enough to maintain more products lineups without affecting the quality of their products and great support.
It's way too early to put flowers over the grave of Intel.

Evga may have priority chip supply from Nvidia and/or by choosing to stock only to their brands.

It's kind of sad that Intel has taken this long to come back and fight AMD. We all know Intel is the larger company who can out spend AMD so it's really surprising they haven't. That said I do think Intel will over time be the safer bet as they make more money.

I find this to be utterly confusing logic. It is AMD's present competition that has forced Intel to sell their CPUs at acceptable prices. For a larger company Intel has failed to innovate over the past 3 years until AMD became competitive. What that tells me is that Intel took advantage of customers who had no other CPU path to turn to until AMD started their ZEN based CPUs. Intel is still trying to produce CPUs at the 14nm mode, so no improvement there. 2021 is going to be an interesting CPU year as both Intel and AMD move to new CPU sockets and DDR5 support. 
 
Right now AMD has about 20 percent of the CPU consumer market and that would be higher if they could make more chips. 

EVGA needs to at least consider AMD motherboards

I'd love it if they do AMD boards, finally jumped ship from Intel after being exclusive to them for 13 years.

It's getting exciting with Intel gaining a new, competent CEO and former employees returning but I just hope that they adopt more consumer-friendly practices. Intel did turn into a monopoly but that's simply because they had the much better product and kept that lead for more than a decade (until Ryzen). Due to their monopoly status, they could kinda charge whatever they wanted and allow themselves to stagnate. Whether this was purposeful or unintentional given their problems with 10nm is up for debate but we are actually getting decent products now because of AMD's resurgence. It's still an uphill battle for AMD however; Intel has 10x as many employees and also 8x the revenue as AMD. Former employees returning to Intel might also raise company morale since they're from the glory days when Intel absolutely dominated the market. 
EVGA only making Nvidia GPUs makes much more sense than staying exclusive with Intel since Nvidia can prioritize EVGA over others such as Gigabyte or Asus when distributing their chips. The only problem is that EVGA doesn't rely on Intel to given them CPUs because they're not bundled (usually) with motherboards like GPUs and graphics card PCBs. Unless there's something else I'm missing here, it doesn't make any sense for EVGA to stay exclusive to Intel.

It might depend on the segment of the market.
