Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla has been the company's strongest PC launch to date, exceeding the sales of all prior games from the publisher within the same timeframe. The company has also reported record Ubisoft Store sales performance, making Assassin's Creed Valhalla a huge success for the company. Across all platforms, Assassin's Creed Valhalla has sold more copies than any other Assassin's Creed title to date, selling more units in its first week than any other game in the series. This makes sense given the game's status as a next-generation launch title, as well as the game's support for existing platforms. No prior Assassin's Creed title has released on this many hardware platforms, with Valhalla launching on Stadia, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC,

Assassin's Creed Valhalla has become one of the must-own titles for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with each new system being utilised to deliver strong visual upgrades over their last-generation counterparts. Ubisoft did not detail how well Assassin's Creed Valhalla sold on the Epic Games Store, only commenting on the game's record sales though the Ubisoft Store/Ubisoft Connect (formerly UPlay).

Those who want to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla with higher framerates on PC should read our PC Performance Analysis for the title.

    I'm having a blast.
It is close to the last 2 games  but just different enough to not fall into the exact same thing to keep it fresh. Hard to explain.
I can see where the design changes may offput some diehards , while trying to draw in new crowds.

Never got into this series because of the wonky controller mechanics of the first one; really put me off.

+1.  I'm enjoying it as well.  I'm at 55 hours play time currently.

Unpopular opinion but honestly don’t like the new assassin’s creed as much as the classic gameplay. Though it makes sense Ubisoft would want to change it up

I know that Ubisoft games are very far from being exceptional and Assains Creeds since Origin are very similar to each other in case of mechanics but I still love them.
The only problem I have now is that my PC is not powerful enough to run it in 4k 60fps and I have only PS4 Pro, so I will just wait, no rush.
But for me, in the end, is a must-play title!

Probably would be a different if Cyberpunk 2077 launched in November. I am not saying it would have been better but the landscape of gaming really was changed for November by it which probably helped it beat other Assassins Creed titles.
