Seems like a lot of posts about cards with issues, card dying, etc. Figured I'd try to post something good. Obviously, way too early to judge on if the card will or will not have issues like others in the future, but so far so good. My UPS is reporting a max power draw of about 540 watts with my system under full gaming load. So, seems like plenty of headroom with my 750 watt EVGA Supernova PSU.
Specs so people with similar system can have an idea of what their power draw will be:
Ryzen 3600X
32GB Ram @ 3200
1tb SSD
3080 FTW3
Corsair 240mm AiO
8X 120mm RGB fans
 
 
So far I've only played games on it for a couple hours. But all seems fine. With fans manually set at 50%, I can't hear them at all (my case is already loud with so many fans) and the highest temps I saw were mid to high 60's. So plenty of room to get them lower if I simply turned fan speed up more, but I'm plenty comfortable with 60's.
Also, a random note: I'm not having any RGB issues with the card like some people were reporting. 
 
So far, I'm very happy with the card so far. It looks amazing (IMO), she thiccc, temps are great, quiet, and mostly - very powerful card. Makes my 2080Ti which was/still is an impressive GPU by all standards seem wimpy in some of the more demanding titles at 3440X1440 resolution. 
Really, really looking forward to pushing it harder with something really demanding like when CP2077 comes out with all Ultra settings and RT on, etc!
 
Also, mine came with a red accent - which I'm perfectly ok with since it matches my already red and black theme I had going.

You’re lucky when I signed up for auto notify on launch day I picked 3080 black base because it was same $ as reference n I thought I would get one on launch. Ha naivety.

Good to hear the 3080 trounces the 2080 ti in 4K. My 2080ti is going in secondary 2k 164hz setup n 3080 in 4K 120 hz setup. EVGA FTW

Glad to hear you got a card!

One thing I kind of find funny is how cool and more power efficient the card runs when it's performing at my 2080Ti's level. 
IE: Some games I just cap at my monitors refresh of 100hz (3440X1440 35") On games where my 2080Ti would run mid - high 60's at 100FPS, the 3080 is running like low 50's lol. Also, it draws less power at the same performance level, which is nice. Guess due to the beefier cooler and it doesn't have to work as hard to achieve the same frame rates.

My 3080 ftw3 ultra has been fine and I have seen it go up to 2000mhz.. Looks great too. I was thinking of jumping to a 3090 but all these power limit issues have me concerned.

Just wanted to comment I was someone who had the 3080 ftw for 1 day before it died on my with the red led. I got my rma replacement in about a week, that was 3 weeks ago. So far so good, I've done some decent gaming, benchmarking. Crossing my fingers!

Today’s my first day with the card and I’m worried it’s a time bomb too. Browsing this forum has put me on the edge, so many failures. But the people who has it working fine probably isn’t posting anything since it’s working as it should (I’m assuming). My card also runs unusually high temps (85-87 avg) on default settings.

You better stick more fan inside the case or open up the side panel.  Thats crazy high for hours of gaming

I've had mine for around a month now. Working like a champ! Boosts to 2150 or so during heavy gaming, and never any issues. I could maybe push it higher, but it's doing everything I need it to. The warmest I think it's gotten is 72c I believe or right around there. Couldn't be happier! Now I just need a fix for the red lipstick...>.>

Nice rig! Lian Li case? Curious where you got that cable clip, the one around your gpu cables. I just ordered another 8-pin pci-e cable that matches my current color scheme. I have cable combs, but I'm looking for something that will bundle them all together.

Got mine on Monday. Black lips. I've been beating the snot out of it, gaming wise. No issues. Upgraded from a FTW3 2080ti. So far it's been worth it.

Yeah people on reddit told me to RMA the card but I'm not sure if that's the correct choice. I have a Meshify C case with 4 bequiet Silent Wings 3 120mm case fans. My CPU runs pretty cool 55-70 tops under a gaming load. I downloaded time spy and ran my fans at 100% and the highest it got was 70C. I can't reach as high score as what other people are reporting with exact same gpu and memory clock speeds. When I use the aggressive fan preset GPU is always loud but its not 85-87C while gaming anymore. I'm just confused how people with overclocks are getting cooler temps than me at stock.

Just for giggles try to lower the Limit to 90% once. See if the small reduced power will bring down those temps.

Yea, my 3080 been going hard in the paint since I got it, although my 3070 ftw3's rgb's had issues since day one but nevertheless that one also going hard so not a deal breaker! 30 series are a lot more power efficient as well,, compared to the older generations.

Roughly 2 weeks and my card continues to have zero issues. I'm very happy with the performance still. 1995 boost with zero OC and extremely cool temps at only 60% fan speed. With this performance temps, I'm sure I could easily get 2100+ out of this card if I cared about overclocking.

Good to hear and grats on getting one !!! Right now a miner is rage quitting over the one that got away... :)
