I assume they are done making and selling this. Glad I got one while I could.

But why remove it from the list? Just disable the buy button, but keep the page up for those who want to see board specs and photos.

I got one a few months ago at a great price.  I have 3 EVGA X299 motherboards but only 1 X CPU.  I use a mATX 2 for games.  If I can ever afford another X CPU and a couple of graphics boards with lots of Tensor cores, my FTW/K will go to work on physics data crunching.
This leaves the DARK as a spare, I guess.  I am considering framing it and hanging it on the wall as the artwork it is.
I look at the current crop of Z490 Darks and wonder, why?  All that power and a tiny, tiny data pipe.  And right now I can drive to Microcenter and buy a 10900X for $80 less than a 10900K. !!!

Hello, do you have an ETA for possible Bios Updates for the DARK ? Last one has some serious bugs when it comes to per Core Voltage/ per Core Overclocking.

If you really, really want a Micro 2 ... Now that I have used mine for a little time, I see that the Micro (not 2) fits my use case better - and I only have 12 cores. :)
So, want to trade?  PM and I will provide more personal information and bone fides.

I don't have the Micro. I don't have any X299 motherboard. I might just send the 10980XE back and go full AMD 5950X.

    Hi Lee,

I was wondering if the X299 Micro (1) can fully support a i9 10980XE without any issues?

So I wasn't the only one who noticed that. That last bios changed something and I couldn't hit my previously stable IC. I think the new bios is just security and doesn't address anything on this matter.

I just got my EVGA Dark a few weeks back.  It's been interesting tracking the prices and the fluctuations.  Clearly there is still some demand for x299 products.  I'll be putting my 7920x in this Dark after moving on to a 10940x in my other build.  EVGA Dark from EVGA's store had the best value far and away.

So is EVGA done with the x299 motherboard series for good or is this just a supply issue?

I'm interested in getting another x299 board for a new build and would prefer to purchase direct.

    Thanks!
