I don't actually like games anymore, but here I am.
Is it because most AAA games now are dumbed down shells of what gaming should be? No longer get the type of memorable classic games we used to in the 90s? I would kill (not literally) for modern versions of Half Life 2, Far Cry 1, Thief the Dark Project, System Shock 2, original X-Com, Ultima VII, Deus Ex (even the modern ones didn't match the original perfection), Fallout 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape Torment, Gothic 1 and 2 etc They just DON'T make games like this anymore. They are too hard for the modern average gamer.

If you mean to say aging makes you lose interest in gaming, then I must be an anomoly. I'm 50 in a few months and I know a few PC gamers in their 60s that love it even more than me. My first complex game ever was Ultima IV in 1985

I was just reading that people are currently paying for flights that land at the same location, just to enjoy flying as a passenger again.
I am TERRIFIED of flying as a passenger. Every time I have ever gone up I am white knuckled and thinking "TODAY I DIE!!!!!"
Yet I achieved a private pilot's license in a Cessna 172. So the oddest thing about me is I'm terrified to fly, but if I'm behind the controls I'm all like a giggling child on a rollercoaster screaming "Whooohooo..."
LOL hey i got so much crap from people when i joined the USAF and had never flown in my life, like it was a requirement or something LOL. Then i spent my military career bossing pilots both military and civilian around so that was fun. oddest thing about me....... hmmm well i'm not really a moose so i guess there is that :D

I first flew a plane when I was 10 and haven't done it since. Must have unnerved my grandfather, who I was flying with.
Another thing that wasn't really odd about me, per se, but still surprising to me, was when my college roommate dared me to go on as many dates as I could in one week (actual dates, not getting my freak on with them). The next week I went on 10 dates with 6 different girls. This floored me, because I know I am not that good looking (no really- no false modesty!), but I didn't have a single girl turn me down, even when I asked some of them for another date. From this I can only conclude that a lot of ladies want to go on honest-to-goodness dates. I am now married and those days are over, but I make sure to take my wife on dates whenever we can get away.

No, I pretty much just lived with it. Many years ago the Dr. wanted me to go to a shoemaker and get custom shoes/heals and soles. But at 250-300$ or so, that was a lot of money back then. Married with two young kids, diapers, food and rent were the priorities at the time. Now, I just gimp along. lol When I go to the Dr. and they do the height and weight. I make sure to stand on my left leg!

I can snap my fingers on my right hand, but for the life of me I can't snap my left hand fingers.
I write,eat,drink,(used to) smoke left handed.
Throw,bowl,kick a ball,shoot pool, shoot guns right handed.
But working with tools, hammers,drills, wrenches and so on, equally well with either hand.

Many years ago the Dr. wanted me to go to a shoemaker and get custom shoes/heals and soles.

Yeah I hear ya. I paid 400 dollars for shoe inserts when I had really bad plantar fasciitis. 5 years later I got no more plantar fasciitis anymore though.
