Can i put two 6-pin pcie cables that dangle into a dual 6-Pin female to 8-Pin male

I lost my 8 pins but found these adaptors would it be safe to use the 2 8 pins I have and use the 2 6 pins with the adaptor for a 3080 ftw3 ultra?

    You could, but I don't like using adapters.
