Just curious, what to expect from RMA replacement for 1 of 3 of my Titan Black SC.  I don't game at all, It’s the  FP64 I care about witch Titan Black still holds admirably very high despite being 6 years old, in fact my tesla  that is 3 time the price is slower in some calculations, so I care to get something good in return. Most if not all new cards are stripped from FP64 and double-precision tflops are very big deal. I won’t except anything less than compatible GPU performance in that department..BTW I have 10 year extended warranty.

I have never RMA anything so I'm quite new in that area.
Any input will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

You would need to speak directly with EVGA. Since the Titan’s were mostly an NVidia thing, and they took them out of the AIB’s hands back around the Maxwell timeframe (right when they stripped FP64) then it is hard to tell what you will get. Maybe EVGA still has a few for RMA’s, so you could get the same thing back, but there really is no way for end users to know.

    Thank you.
I know this will be interesting as Titan Black was the latest consumer GPU that still had full FP64, everything else after that is crippled in that area.

Email sent to evga support, we will see from here.

How long does usually take to get a response, I'm taking into account our difficult times were all dealing with (COVID-19)
I’ve been EVGA customer for about 20 years, but surprisingly never used RMA which is a great thing, but I have always heard of their superior support...well let’s find out at first hand how good they are

We are sorry, we are a bit backed up and I just came by your email. It would be hard to say at the time of the RMA for a definitive answer. We will always attempt to replace it with the same model or send one comparable in performance but may not be a Titan Black so we do not typically speculate until we have received your video card.

Fair enough thank you. So if it’s not the exact card I will be given an options before hand?
    Thank you
