X1 version 1.0.7 with 2080 Ti XC Ultra here.

Hysteresis isn't being applied. Fan speed can be seen changing as soon as temperature changes.

I've editing the fan curve to have different fan speeds between the 2 fans, the fan closest to front of the case will receive more air filtered air compared to the fan near display ports. So I want the front fan to spin faster and do more cooling by forcing more air through the heatsink. (Also, different RPM have less chance of resonance).

But X1 hysteresis setting isn't being applied. So a slight change in temperature results in immediate change in fan speed and thus noise tune, making this whole fan curve feature unusable. See screenshot attached, hysteresis is set at 3c, but temperature only changed between 77 and 75 in the highlighted area. The fan speed should not change here.

Please fix this bug, considering it's such an easily reproduceable bug.

Also, your saved profiles doesn't save unlinked state of power target. As I've reported in another thread

Temperature Hysteresis only works on the cool-down..For example if you have a fan setpoint at 70C with a 3C hysteresis, the fan will still spin up at 70C but wont begin to spin down until 67C.

You'll probably find, like I do, that Power and/or GPU Temp Target is actually applied but is not indicated as being applied correctly in Precision after a PC shutdown/restart or if Precision is closed/opened..That's a definate bug, has been for many versions..You can confirm that by opening MSI Afterburner using the 'Default MSI Afterburner v3 skin' in the User Interface tab of the Settings..'Apply previous settings on load' must be turned on/applied in Precision's Setup settings for overclock/temp target/power target to be applied at Windows Startup.

You can change a fan curve to steppings, which can help with excessive fan speed fluctuation, by double-clicking in the Fan Curve Editor area.

I had hysteresis set to 3c. There was a drop of 77 to 75 in the highlighted area. You can see the fan speed changed soon after temperature change, ignoring the hysteresis setting.

The setting has been freshly applied for this testing.

Stepping fan curve would be worse if the temperature happens to be at the stepping point. Constantly spinning up and down.
