Hello everybody,
 
I've had an EVGA RTX 3080 Ultra since 19.09.2020. The card is going well and I haven't had any crashes so far. The card boosts continuously in games between 1935-1980 MHz. I run the card with an Enermax 1200W Platinum power supply, an MSI X570 motherboard and a Ryzen 3900X. Under full load, the mainboard software shows that the 12V rail fluctuates between 11.8 and 11.9V.
Is that normal?

    Those values are within spec. Keep in mind that software readings is PSU rails isn’t known to be accurate.

    GPU-Z reports voltage at each 8-pin.

    My 12v supply 11.8-12v almost all the time. It is normal and within tolerances.

    Just to add a little bit more information, even your wall outlet that supplies 120v can fluctuate a bit depending on weather, time of day, household usage, etc. My 120v goes from 116v to 120v. Most hardware is built to allow tolerances in voltage fluctuation.

    I live in Germany and we have 220V house wiring.
     
    I have just installed GPU-Z and under full load it shows me continuously 11.9V without fluctuation on the two 8PIN slots.
     
    Is that okay?

    You good. The same situation will occur in house wiring regardless of country. It will fluctuate. Tolerances are built into. Don't worry!

    I have now switched to a Corsair 1200w and there are absolutely no more fluctuations on the 12V rail.

    i have the 1200p2 and plan on getting the 3080ftw3 ultra i hope theres nor ecurring issues
