I'm curious about the default fan curves and how to measure those. It seems my 2080ti runs a bit warmer than many of the posts I've seen on this forum and I can't for the life of me figure out why. My case is an absolute wind tunnel and my old card easily ran at 60c in this very case. The FTW Ultra boosts up to 1950mhz but on the default fan profile (slider locked no adjustments) i get temps of about 74-76 degrees. If I set it to the preset "aggressive" curve temps settle around 70 degrees. The agressive preset never has the fans go above about 70 percent. These temps don't seem bad per se, they are completely within spec, but for a card with a monster heatsink and 3 fan setup I'd figure temps would be much better. Any suggestions?

Before any meaningful help can be given we need to know variable like ambient temps where your PC is, what kind of case, how many fans....etc

Everyone always "thinks" they have perfect air flow in their case when this is often not the case (no pun intended) and just because some random person be it here or youtube has slightly lower temps doesn't mean yours are cause for alarm if they are a bit higher. People often times embellish their temps in some vain attempt to brag or show off and reviews often use an open air test bench to test the GPUs, in which case if you don't also have an open bench you intended to use it on, their numbers are not directly comparable to yours.
