How to disable Firefox mediakey controls on Volume OSD

Firefox recent update added a new box to volume OSD to show mediakey controls.

 
If you don't like it, here's how you can get rid of it if Firefox is your default browser.
 
  1. Open up Firefox browser and paste or type "about:config" and press enter
  2. Now search for "media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled" 
  3. Double click on "true" to turn it "false"
  4. Close all firefox browser windows open
Now when you change windows volume, it should be the old OSD.

    Don't know why FireFox and Chrome decided to mess with volume OSD like that and not give user an easy way to disable in the browser options.
