2080 super restock?

I was curious if anyone knows about a 2080 super restock. I believe nvidia discontinued production but I'm not sure if that means there are no more on the way. I checked around and couldn't find any info, so I was just wondering if I should wait for a new restock or just try for the next one I find.

    For the same price of a 2080 super, you could get a 3080 with double the performance.

    Roughly 60 to 70% more performance at 4K, on average from all that I've gathered. A little less than that at 1440P, and significantly less at 1080P.

    Probably worth waiting the month or two (or more?) for the 3080, or even 3070.

    Been wondering if the card manufacturers are going to cut the price of the 20 series.  Would be interesting if they did.

    For the same price I can just get the super and step up at no additional cost. My hope is to wait out the bugs and issues they may or may not arise and still have a good card until then.

    You may be able to get them elsewhere like Amazon or Best Buy, but as others have pointed out, paying full price for a 2080 Super right now is not a good investment unless you're planning to use EVGA's step-up program.
     
    If so, be sure you get from an authorized retailer- if buying on amazon be sure it says 'sold and shipped by Amazon', same with Newegg

    Unlike from GTX to RTX the 3000 series is a straight upgrade make the 2000 series completely pointless. Restocks will be slow
