I am new. What is wrong with having new members?
Nothing at all. I think the point of the thread was to try and recruit new members to the EVGA Folding and BOINC teams. Basically use your computer to try and find cures for Alzheimer, Covid19 and others. Welcome aboard to the  forums

I lost access to my old account. I honestly can't remember what e-mail address or username I had.
I know I've been on here after I got an EVGA GTX 670, and again after an EVGA 1060 SC. I vaguely remember talking to Jakob, I wonder if he's still around.
I don't have too much of a reason to be active post release outside of a bios update or whatever. I prefer to run MSI Afterburner over Precision and that doesn't require registration.
With this new wave of cards, and with Newegg pretty much no longer being secure nor useful as a marketplace, a lot of people are probably just registering and looking to notify and purchase directly from EVGA. My GPUs have been EVGA for awhile now and will probably be so going forward, and I might as well look at the PSUs and other components here for my next build as well (albeit I have a Microcenter near me, which is really good for CPU and a bunch of other components).
PMs are locked down here for new members now so I can't even PM Jakob if I had an issue :/
