I registered for stepup in Sept 2020, not long after stepup's started for the 3080 cards. Took screenshot of the summary confirmation page showing my card details, new card details and how much it would cost me and that i would be notified when the card was available as it was out of stock.
I raised a support ticket when this card finally came back in stock a week ago (nearly 7 months on) and was told I had never registered for stepup even though I had screenshots and dates to prove i had gone through the process.
Obviously replied to their response and asked 'were there website issues with stepup at this time?' just in case a database had to be rolled back or something and some transactions were lost and they 'resolved' the ticket even though its not resolved. Obviously seeing this thread shows there were issues at this time with this process.
Feeling really frustrated with them at the moment, the stepup page said they would contact when in stock, covid re-stock issues then hit and it didnt come back in stock on the eu evga website for 6 months (i checked several times a week) and now im being told i had never even registered for step-up? thats bull man. I had same thing as well as mentioned above clicked continue after the informational page giving the card to be returned that i screenshotted and it was a basic page post this but with the 90 stepup logo but didnt think anything of it because 'they would be in touch'.
Anyone else had these issues, im getting really annoyed now as if they claim there was no stepup even though i have screenshots of the summary and date etc its well passed the 90 days now obviously.
Any ideas of what i can do next to escalate this as seems the helpdesk have just brushed this off marking as 'resolved' because its not in their system as registered even though my screenshot and info shows exactly when and what info i was given during the process.
This is really hurting my streaming at the moment with fps issues as i have a 144hz 2k monitor for gaming and 90hz 2k monitor for obs, chatbot etc etc and other details for stream because of limitations with my current card and running within a small window on a large monitor is not great.
Would appreciate any advice.
Cheers
David
