Just installed my XC3 Black Gaming today and Warzone crashes every game. I tried reducing the clock speed by 50 and 100, but still ran into crashes. Anyone have a similar issue?

You powering the card with two separate pci-e power cables?

How do you feel about not having a backplate? Trying to decide if its worth going for gaming version vs black since its extra 50$ for just the backplate it seems

vicente213 i think i may have fixed my issue. 1. re-sat video card 2. switched psu cable connector to the ones closest to psu. was using the 2nd power connectors on cables previously.
you could always try taking the card out and blowing into the slot.. useto make all the difference back in the day

Had the same issue, but lowering the core clock -100 seems to have stabilized it. I have the XC3 Gaming.

If you had to lower the core clock I would say you have an issue with your system. If you are overclocking anything (memory, CPU) bring this down to default and retry at the video card default clocks. Check your PSU voltages and make sure nothing is out of the ordinary.

I heard on Nvidia's Forums that Windows 10 2004 is the issue, can someone running earlier windows build to confirm that?

this literally wont change anything. the card doesnt know if it has 1 (8+8 pigtail) or 2 (2x 8-pin separate) cables plugged into it. the game is crashing, he's not getting a full system shutdown from PSU OCP, which would only happen on a multi-rail PSU which is increasingly rare these days. or an underrated PSU for the application.

Separate pcie cables, no OC in they system anywhere except xmp profile on ram. Best method for checking PSU voltages?

What does the back of your card look like? Specifically the area right behind the GPU. Did you see the other thread discussing POSCAPs vs. MLCCs on the backside of the card?

I'll have to check after work, have it in a vertical configuration, another point of failure I didnt think of was the PCI-E Riser cable.

Also likely. I would try the card in the slot without the vertical mount, with separate PCIE cables.

I second this (being overclocked)* . I had my memory OC'd from 3200 to 3600. I went back into bios and reset everything to default. First time I did not crash playing warzone. Will do heavy gaming today to test.

i think the riser is only likely a problem if you have a motherboard that also supports PCIe 4.0. In this case, with the BIOS setting to 'Auto' for the PCIe speed, with a PCIe 4.0 card in a PCIe 4.0 slot, it will probably try to run it at 4.0, but if you have a riser, that is likely only rated to 3.0 between the two, that can cause issues. If you have an AMD 500 series board with an AMD 3rd gen ryzen chip, and using a PCIe 3.0 riser, go into the BIOS and manually set the PCIe slot speed to 3.0
