EVGA 3090 Sag Bracket

I know in EVGA's most recent TeamEVGA stream Jacob showed off the sag bracket included with the card, but  I'm not entirely sure where it goes in a case/how its supposed to be mounted. Is it like other sag brackets that attach to the PCIe slot covers on the back of the chassis? The stream did have a QR code manual that I tried scanning but i couldn't get a clear enough picture for the reader to load it.

Any chance of some clarification from the mods/people that have used brackets of this ilk before?

    Is it 3090 only? Kind of odd it wouldn't be with 3080 too since they're the same sizes.

    In the live stream it was pulled out of a 3080 FTW3 box.

    The one they show in the pic is only using a single screw on the bracket and is not the same item shown for sale.
    Sketchy to say the least.

    Too bad it does not have fans so it isn't blocking the intake air on the GPU.

    The EVGA one looks like it actually screws into the card, which makes is far superior to other solutions that "carry" the card from underneath.

    I agree, I like EVGA's implementation.
     
    I use MNPCTECH brackets, which include a rubber stop that you can adjust and place in any slot on the bracket: https://www.mnpctech.com/...-support-bracket-black

    Ahh that makes sense why Jacob was saying it was case dependent, since that looks like it'd have to screw into a stand or one of the case walls.

    It usually attaches to the case for people with cases from dell, and other system integrators that include the support bracket.

    RGB is nice , but the price for a bracket is a tad much ... I saw a few cheaper alternatives .

    I installed this one today, works well. It's nice you can plug it right into the card and control it using PX1. Couldn't find an official # but I'm pretty sure it has 26 LEDs.

    I installed this one today, works well. It's nice you can plug it right into the card and control it using PX1. Couldn't find an official # but I'm pretty sure it has 26 LEDs.


    I am using this one as well but I cut the RGB cable to keep case cleaner :)
