After having the 980 Ti Classified and seeing the raw performance of that card. If I remember correctly 70c at full load. I don't like water I'm old school in that way. Been building systems since late 90's. I also had a platinum EVGA PSU. I'm a EVGA fan for life now. I remember building my last system and making a mistake on build that was embarrassing. I called support at 12 at night and someone picked up straight away. Man this company is the best next to Asus in my opinion. I haven't played any PC games in years now. Long story. I'm in the position now to build my dream home theater setup. Already have the 77" LG C9. All 3080 are sold out though. Any idea when the 3080 will be back in stock? Thanks

Follow Jacob Freeman on Twitter (he has a few pinned post on the main 30 series forum home page if you want the link to his twitter as I can't post links properly here for now).  He'll usually have the best info on restock day and even time of day.  As for right now, there should be more stock coming onto the EVGA site today, but no time given at the moment, so either keep checking EVGA, follow Jacob to see if he announces the restock, or both. Best of luck.

Maybe I should have said when do you think stock levels will be normalized so they aren't sold out in a couple days.

Ahah yeah seriously. Not everyone can have bots set up to buy them 3 cards automatically. It takes me a few days to move money around. It's there and waiting. My LG is sitting here waiting for the 1st card in history to have HDMI 2.1 I had an XBOX X hooked up to it with Metro Exodus VRR and dude no PC experience to this day has impressed me as much. So a card that smash this for $800. I can't wait.

If the God-Emperor wills it I shall have my hands on one today! As for stock "normalizing" It won't unless AMD smashes Nvidia with their new card

I've waited a while for 3080 ray tracing performance is important. To see say Witcher 3, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk, run on this glorious OLED. Most people don't have a clue what OLED is like. Try watching Blade Runner 2049 or Watchmen Final Cut and see some shadow detail.. then you will know. Black shadows next to eye popping color. No QLED can ever come close. E9 huh? OLED family :)

I predict 3-6 months we'll finally see some type of normalization if history has any indication but could be wrong if they've prepared this ahead of time with everything going on but that's not all on EVGA pre say but on Nvidia as well.

They are expecting a big shipment next week or two or even sooner as stated by EVGAJacob on twitter.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

What oled do you have? I am in the market. Also A bunch of people on twitter were complaining of getting banned by the evga website for using auto refresher bots which makes me feel like I just might have a chance.

I can wait a few months. I need to make sure to not overuse my OLED. I want it fresh. To play Quake Champions on this with Razer Turret. Oh you have not seen what I can do on Team Fortress 2 either. Two fort all of the good choke points are mine. To the post above. I use a 77" LG C9. Do not go with a CX even though it is newer it does not have full 48 gbps HDMI 2.1 it is 40 gbps. Plus it doesn't have the peak HDR that the C9 does.

We will have to see. I was an ass hair away from getting a CX. Glad I got the C9 instead used the price difference to get Best Buy warranty which covers burn in. Dolby Vision looks incredible so I'm happy.

As a note, the 3080 will also be overkill for a 1080p monitor and likely be CPU Bound unless it is a very new high-end CPU.

Totally. Even for very very high refresh rate (200+) the card will be CPU bound on some / many games. Even on 1440p with a 7700k there are some games CPU limited (and that's " only " a 3 and half years old high end CPU that you can even OC) so for 1080p I feel like depending your current card, you might be better with a 3070.
