Every microsoft game I've played is so very linear....even halo....one hallway to go thru to get to the objective...feels very enclosed...

I hope they don't go that trend.

As long as it doesn't affect the PC gamer market. I don't think that it will, Sony is really the only console company that is stingy with its exclusives not coming to PC. Horizon is a step forward, even if it is a rough port.

They also purchased Obsidian back in 2018, and to my knowledge Outer Worlds is not linear. Granted I'm not sure when development started on that title.

Guessing any exclusives will just be timed. Elder Scrolls MUST be sold on every piece of hardware with a video screen, ever.

So true lol. This will definitely not go well for ps5 in the years to come. I would be shocked if Microsoft didn’t take advantage of this purchase and prevent some heavy hitters from releasing on playstation.

TES and Fallout are 2 of my favorite series of games, but given that they will come out of PC, this will not influence any potential future console purchases for me.

I suspect that their games will be timed exclusives rather than full exclusives. Much like the PS --> PC transition, anyone unwilling to buy a console in the early days of a game's launch is unlikely to buy one later to play it.

This makes the Xbox/PC Gaming pass very interesting.  That's a lot of gaming for a relatively low cost each month.

Not really great news but it doesn't really effect me as a PC player

Hoping this doesn't impact exclusives. Good to see competition though
