Hey folks,
Looking to see if anyone has tried the XR1 as a capture device for video conferencing. I have an HD60s+ that works just fine with how my XT-4 is set-up currently but when I swap it to the XR1 using pass-through mode I get nothing but a black screen.

If I downgrade the video settings a bit from 4k->1080P it seems to work fine. I'm not sure what I'm missing on my camera that I would need to have the XR1 work properly. Any thoughts?

Is this in OBS? Also can you check in the Windows Webcam app if it is showing? Also you are saying if you downgrade the camera settings from 4K?

    Hi Jacob,

This is in multiple apps. OBS, Discord, Zoom. None of them work. Checking the Windows 10 Camera app also doesn't work.

So currently in my camera I have it set to the following settings,

4k Recording, 60 FPS. Works fine through the Elgato HD60s+. Just a black screen on the XR1 with pass through mode. If I don't have pass through mode on, the camera reports that there is no compatible HDMI device attached.

When I downgrade it to FHD which is 1920x1080, 60 FPS still, everything works just fine (also switching the XR1 to non pass through mode)

Let me know if there's any other info I can provide!

The XR1 does not support 4K capture, only pass through. Max it supports is 1080P/60. Advanced Pass Through effectively disables the device without having to disconnect it.

    Hi Jacob,

I understand it doesn't support 4k Capture. I was just providing a full description of various scenarios.

Based on my understanding, the 4k pass through should work yes? Similar to how the HD60s+ works? Or am I misunderstanding how passthrough is supposed to work?
