https://www.techpowerup.com/272332/gigabyte-outs-geforce-rtx-3080-vision-oc-ampere-for-creators Until NVIDIA rolls out Ampere-based Quadro products, the closest thing to a "professional" graphics card on this architecture has to be the new GeForce RTX 3080 VISION OC by GIGABYTE. The VISION brand by GIGABYTE is targeted at creators, and the company wagers it can sell the RTX 3080 to this market, hoping they get the hint to pair it with NVIDIA's Studio drivers. The RTX 3080 VISION OC combines a black PCB with a mostly-white cooling solution that's characteristic of the VISION design scheme, along with some brushed aluminium accents. The top of the card features a large silicon ARGB diffuser that lights up in any color or transitions of color. The triple-slot, triple-fan cooler uses multiple aluminium fin-stacks skewered by six 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes that pull heat over a copper base-plate. The cooler is longer than the PCB, so GIGABYTE punched holes through the back-plate to let airflow form the third fan through. GIGABYTE ships the card with a yet-unspecified factory-overclock. The card draws power from two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Display outputs include two HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors. The card is 32 cm long and 12.6 mm tall, and needs three slots in your system. The company didn't reveal pricing. Of course right now RTX 3080 stock is nonexistent so I don't see any sales of this card for a while. However I do like the color and design.

"Until NVIDIA rolls out Ampere-based Quadro products, the closest thing to a "professional" graphics card on this architecture has to be the new GeForce RTX 3080 VISION OC by GIGABYTE." ...ummm... what about the 3090? How does a white cooling shroud make the 3080 a 'professional' GPU card compared to all the other 3080s, particularly when the 3090 is due out in just a couple of days? Very strange claim to make.

Because it has 3x Fans and RGB? Bling bling those work loads into submission... don’t worry about the cards that will be better, this is the right now card! Like, for a couple of days maximum.

Xavier Zepherious is it 20GB??? Gigabyte outed both 16GB and 20GB cards
Gigabyte confirms GeForce RTX 3060 8GB, RTX 3070 16GB and RTX 3080 20GBhttps://videocardz.com/newz/gigabyte-confirms-geforce-rtx-3060-8gb-rtx-3070-16gb-and-rtx-3080-20gb Gigabyte sure has lots of leaks
Sounds like complete bs to me, but who knows. Can they even do that? I would think NVidia would say NO because a 3080 at 20GB could undermine the 3090 sales, and at a much lesser price. Likewise a 3070 at 16GB would undermine the NVidia 3080 sales, and again at a much lesser price. Huge gain of salt on this one - unless it's a Super/Ti, then maybe at a stretch... I cannot see NVidia allowing these out in the immediate/near future though. Makes me think I should hold off buying anything yet if it is true. The 3090 still remains top of the pile with 24GB and massive core counts etc. - I don't see a 3090S there.

I wouldn't doubt it. I have seen these things before (780 3GB and 6GB, etc). This could be ways out, 6-12 months away or much sooner than anticipated. Maybe Nvidia thought of a way to counter the scalpers/bots and bait them to 10 GB GPUs? All we can do is speculate but the big gap between the 3080 to 3090 is fairly odd if it isn't meant for the 'in-betweens' if you will. I don't think the 3090 will be challenged unless of course the other presumed GPUs get too close or they'll just adjust the pricing closer.

After seeing more recent rumors (particularly the one with the image up the front of some sort of conference room) it's sounding more likely.

Gigabyte don't believe in keeping the upgrades hidden until everyone buys the first batch, so they keep "leaking" things and earning people's respect along the way!

Still no word on the release of the Vision 3080, therefore, no word from retailers it seems. Sigh. Maybe they're trying to work out the crashing issue for the Vision release, given it's targeted at developers

Looks nice - would look great in a white themed build for sure.
