Although I do purchase Evga Cards, I have heard nothing but good things from buds on other Forums re: Zotac (just about pulled the pin on a 2080Ti a year or so go).
I was told there customer service was great as is build quality.

I'm not ssure if disassembling to install a Block would void Warranty, but I would be very surprised if it did, considering all the folks removing stock coolers and installing Water Blocks.

I'd check their warranty policy first. I remember back when the 1080 launched PNY just changed their warranty stating it would void your warranty if you installed a water block.

Intel i9 9900K @ 5.2Ghz Single HUGE Custom Water Loop.
Asus Z390 ROG Extreme XI MB
G.Skill Trident Z 32GB (4x8GB) 4266MHz DDR4
EVGA 2080ti K|NGP|N w/ Hydro Copper block.
34" Dell Alienware AW3418DW 1440 Ultra Wide GSync Monitor
Thermaltake Core P7 Modded w/ 2x EK Dual D5 pump top,2 x EK XE 480 2X 360 rads.1 Corsair 520 Rad.

I don't think I have ever heard a good thing about PNY. And isn't Zotac performing on par and even sometimes under the FE atm?

every last one of them?  Mine was cancelled 4 hours after I got the order confirmation, but I thought I was an outlier.

I've only heard of them being cancelled so it seems likely. Maybe some are being recalled behind the scenes to deal with the caps.

Yeah, not too worried about Zotac. Zotac/PNY seem to always be some of the worst cards of every bunch. Those are the cards I always avoid, while EVGA and ASUS being the cards I tend to look for.

I agree, even msi is decent but this time around they cheapened out and their cards crash.

Not worried about Zotac cancellation.  I want a EVGA but back then I hadn't read the reviews yet and just wanted a card.  Full stop.  I've since narrowed to EVGA.

Not to sound fanboyish or anything, but unless something drastically changes with EVGA, I'll always hold out for an EVGA purchase. They've never been anything but 100% behind me with any issue I've ever had and have always gone above and beyond my expectations when dealing with anything, including RMA.

Old thread, but yeah Zotac is still using the same 6 POSCAP solution... MLCCs are probably better, but given the variability of all electronic components, it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have a bad card if you have the all POSCAP solution.
