This may be a stupid question. but in regards to the Series X: Assuming you'd be able to run games at 2K resolution at 144 hertz if your monitor is capable?

I thought about trying to get one of these, but I just couldn't justify it since I just did a new PC build, and I'm still trying to snag a 3080. Are you guys getting both? What about the PS5?

I don't plan on getting either but I didn't get a ps4 or xbox one either. The last generation i bought was ps3 and xbox 360 and that was mostly for exclusives. I didn't really see anything I just had to play this current ending generation. ports to pc have been taking care of that for me.

Going to be interesting round of Console Wars.
Agreed, and not just PS5 vs XBOX, but Xbox VS PC. Pretty sure the mouse and keypad is supported and features like freesync and streaming are already caked in for cheap. For myself at the moment I couldn't justify a CPU upgrade and video card upgrade over the Xbox at $500 bucks. Good stuff to round off 2020.
