If they are not released for another couple weeks, how can all these youtube videos comparing 3080s vs 2080 tis be real?

I mean look at this video at 1:17 https://youtu.be/7IhRyZ2N4H0?t=77 He claims it's showing 1080p FPS and then the overlay fades to 4k, but there's no actual cut/or pause in the gameplay to change the rez when the text claims to.

The best to do is look at the source of the video. Well known and trusted review websites are not going to put out click bait youtube videos with fake benchmarks and someone who you never have heard of probably didn't get NVIDIA to give them a card early for review.

After reading through the comments I noticed somebody pointed out that Fortnite footage was from two years ago lol, so that alone blows it out of the water

Awesome! And that one of the games he highlights is Borderlands 3. The one game that has single handedly managed to melt my RTX 2080 Super Black into a pool of lava and consistently get terrible FPS, so this was perfect for me.

That game made me upgrade my RAM to 32GB.. Having BL3 and Chrome open killed my system. However, I wonder if that was potentially my 1080 bottlenecking VRAM and using system RAM, since that seems to be an issue with 4k.
