Some tech guy tweeted as can be seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC4vkH8PlUg  Interesting enough was the AMD guy in charge of graphics emoji response.   I am staring to think I will hold off to see what AMD comes out with and if it effects prices or an emergency 3080TI gets launched.

This is weird. Why would Nvidia launch both a 3070super and 3070ti? A 3080ti for $999 would make much more sense to me.

    Dude it's Lenovo.
    Who knows what happened?
Bad copy paste? Person that didn't know what they were doing?
Until there is a "leak" from nvidia or EVGA/ASUS/... themselves, I wouldn't just believe that the ti and super are coming.

Plus why would this leak for the 3070 first? It's the last to be released.
The "ti" might just be what they called the version with more memory...

It doesn't matter if AMD can bring a competing product to the table because FPS to FPS they still need to be cheaper due to their abysmal drivers. At least a 150$ difference.

With the 3080 releasing at $700 there's just no way AMD can launch a competing card for $450.

There is a pretty big gap between the 3080 and 3090 in specs and memory. Too big a gap not to intend to fill it with a 3080Ti.

This is how Nvidia has always done it. Titan and xx80 first, xx70 right after and xx80Ti a few months down the road.

In this case the 3090 is the Titan class.

This allows Nvidia a quick response to AMD for anything they release to try to compete with Nvidia on every tier.

I just don't see AMD pulling it off. Even if they did, I couldn't bare jump on that band wagon with the driver issues and such. I'd rather take a decrease in performance and have stability lol.

It's laptops, so perf reduced. It's GDDR6, not GDDR6X, so performance will be reduced even more. And it's probably mis-labeled, other companies already made that same mistake, even EVGA.

As for RDNA2 performance, while i expect it to be decent I don't see it coming close to the 3090. AMD hasn't designed a high-end card in ages.

To be fair they hadn't designed a decent CPU in ages either and they been killing it since Ryzen.

I find it quite funny people commenting on waiting to see what AMD releases. AMD will not get close to the 3000 series. AMD caught Intel sitting on their hands, Nvidia is a whole different ball game that AMD isn't even on the field to play.
