Are there spec sheets available for the EVGA 30 series cards yet? I especially need length, width, and height.
These cards are getting bigger and bigger and I'm not sure which ones will actually fit in my NZXT H1 case.

I believe that the XC3 cards will be less than 300mm length per another post in the forum, and should fit in the 2.5 slot limit you have.

I mean the FTW are rated at 300mm so yeah the XC3 better be less :-D I remember seeing 283 or something but don't trust me on that one.

    Per the sticky

    XC3 - 285.37 x 111.15 x 45.1 (Black is 40.9)
    FTW3 - 300 x 136.75 x 55.55

    Edited FTW3 thickness

Are EVGA models below FTW3 reference PCB + 12 pin this time around or are they something different?

Seems they're reference(They said only FTW3 and KP are custom) but XC3 uses 2x 8pin. It doesn't seem like many, if any, board partners are using the 12 pin. Everything I've seen is either 2 or 3x 8 pin. As a note, there are supposedly two different reference boards. The one in the FE is rumored to have a slightly different shape.

I wasn't aware there were different Nvidia reference PCB's per model this time around. There is no FE variant, they are being sold as the 3070, 3080 and 3090. I intend to put whatever I get under a water block and am leaning towards reference PCB because blocks for that will be out by all manufacturers right off the bat. I'm worried that the XC3 may not share the same board layout or size and therefore the reference PCB compatible blocks will not work with it and then we are at the mercy of a block manufacturer to develop a block and that could take months even if they do. Not interested in HydroCopper, the red LED strip is a huge turn off, I also hear they aren't the best performing.

It looks like there are 2 "reference" PCBs. The V-shaped one only in the Founders Edition, and another full length reference PCB for partners. Most likely this is used in the XC3. I would think there would be waterblocks for both reference PCBs near launch. FTW and other custom boards will probably also get waterblocks at some point. EK has indicated they will have stuff near or at launch, I assume for reference at least. Don't forget that removing the FE cooler and installing a waterblock on Nvidia cards will void your warranty. Not the case with EVGA

Yeah.  I meant 55.55.  The Black is 40.9 and I got mixed up.  I will edit it.

    for the FTW3; it says 3 x 8 pin  connectors, can you/should you use 2 sockets on the PSU one with a 2 x 8pin split ?

Ah yes, thanks for the info, I'm partial to EVGA because of the 3 year warranty and the fact that mounting a water-block isn't grounds for denying a warranty claim. Also, I love the iCX sensors, I had memory fail with my first 2080 Ti (Alienware Aurora, Micron, no overclock) and being able to see the memory temps with it's replacement, my current card (EVGA XC2) really added to peace of mind and is worth the $50 that they demand.

Leaning towards XC3 this time around because the power delivery of 2080 Ti was over-built and there wasn't really any advantage in the additional power phases of FTW3 and you also may have to wait a while for block availability with non-reference layout PCB. I've been running the 373w FTW3 vbios on my XC2 without any issues (load temps of 42C core, 48c memory).

I'm wondering how the block manufacturers are going to address cooling the additional VRAM on the top of the PCB though. It seems the air coolers have a contact plate that is either passively or actively cooled with airflow to address this. With a water block, short of say Aquacomputer's design I see no other way to accomplish this with the 3090, which is what I'm getting.

Curious as to how EVGA will accomplish this task with the HydroCopper variant.
