Front mount is tubes down (pump always lower than the highest point of your rad (air pocket))Please watch gamer nexus’ video on aio rad/pump positioning. This will give you all the info you need to make an informed decision.

with an O11 dynamic, lian li case, where would be best mount location of a 240mm hybrid if i already am using the top mount for a 360aio for cpu. front? bottom? would tubes be top or bottom of rad if front mounted. also, is there room to mount a third 120mm above or below a 240mm rad on this case? or does the metal of the rad not make it possible?

Definitely front, ideally with tubes at bottom of rad as long as they are still above the level of the GPU block. If you have the 3 front fans as intake which then blow through the radiator and into the case, there should be no problem keeping all 3 fans there. Mount the rad on the upper 2 fans though.

edit: Oops sorry Avenger, didn't realize thread had moved to a new page when I was answering this.

Dedenping on where the pump (gpu core) is in relation to the rad, he could install at his bottom two front. What’s important is that the pump must not be the highest part of the loop, if i’ve understood correctly.

This may seem excessive, but I try to run the system offline before I mount the unit.  Or, tilt the case to bleed/purge any air bubbles from the pump/block.  Can't see it, but you can sometimes hear the air in the pump.  Similar precautions as flushing coolant fluids in a car.

If the pump if the highest point in the loop. This won’t matter because eventually air will find it’s way to the pump and cause problems.

Didn't have a problem with my 1070 Hybrid, don't have a problem with my 2070S Hybrid, and I don't anticipate an issue with the 3080 Hybrid when I eventually get it (3080S/TI maybe?).  The loudest EVGA card I've had was the only non Hybrid card (2070 XC Black) I tried for an all air build.
