Ill order 1 3090 KPE this round... Going to pick up a NVIDIA founders @ release just to check out the new cooler and am in talks with Galax regarding the HOF.
It was a good idea to mention EVGA's plans for a KPE this round. Without mentioning the 3090 KPE I would have just ordered a couple of founders from NVIDIA directly...

Jacob specifically stated that the KPE would not be ready on the 9/24 date, but he did say it wouldn't be too much later after.

That tells me it might be October or possibly November, but definitely not 2021.
EVGA has said this numerous times and it ends up being a while. Look at X299 Dark, 1080ti KP, Z390 Dark, 2080ti KP. Were still waiting for the Z490 Dark that was supposed to be launched weeks after Z490 launch.

Because that’s when the card dropped for the 2000 series? We don’t have reason to believe it will come sooner. Even if they have designs etc the supply of king pin, hc cards etc will probably be limited and will take a while.
The KPE was a new product for the 2000 series though. It's not like it was a planned product from the inception of the 2000 series. So 7 months out argument doesn't really hold water.
Not true at all. The KP has been around for way longer than the 2000 series

I also think the Kingpin is coming sooner than usual, but we won't know until a date is given.
FYI the FEs are going to suck to take apart to put a waterblock on.
