Hello, Final Fantasy VII remake has not yet hit the PC, yet there are still speculations regarding the PC requirments when it does. So at the moment I am rather torn between upgrading my GPU. Everyone recommends "EVGA 06G-P4-1068-KR GeForce GTX 1660 Super Sc Ultra Gaming, 6GB GDDR6, Dual Fan, Metal Backplate" as the best bang for buck, but is the bang good to be good enough for a decent FFVII experience when it finally comes out. I could upgrade to the 1070, but i REALLY don't want to spend $200 to do it. Thanks for any advice / suggestions.

This is one of those things that you simply have to wait until the actual requirements and benchmarks come out. Its alot harder to buy a card for a game when you don't know how it will perform. Just hold on and see what the specs are and then make your decision on that.

Whats your budget when the game is released? 🤔
    What GPU you can afford?

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

Well could try to get a rough ball park of requirements by guessing based off the FFXV system requirements.

    for 4k they are :
    • Windows 10 64-bit Fall Creators update
    • Intel Core i7-7700 (3.6GHz and above) or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X (3.6GHz and above)
    • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
    • 16GB memory
    • Over 155GB free space (SSD recommended)

that said, I don't know if the requirements for FFXII will be much more or less than 15's

In any case I'd wait til September 1st to see whatever Nvidia announces, as it may change the GPU options for you.

I recommend 4 3090s in SLI for best performance.

No one really knows at this point if the port will be good or not. I remember when 15 came to PC I think the port was a bit shoddy and higher end video cards didn't help that much? I could be wrong. I think the 1070 will play the game but I would wait to upgrade until you see the requirements.

15 had some issues for me, but are they built on the same engine?

VII is way more linear than XV. It should be way easier to run
