I just watched this video from Gamers Nexus
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbGomv195skVery informative. I had my AIO mounted on the CPU with logo up, which also meant that the tubes were on top. After watching the video I swapped it so that the tubes were at the bottom when mounted on the CPU. Initial tests brought my CPU temp at idle down to around 41C constant (I was getting readings the other way around 46C-50C even after a the previous post - it went back up a few degrees) and 100% CPU usage is around 70C. (not running very long though, so it might go up a few more degrees)
My next task is to investigate what JayzTwoCents shares in this video -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R460NL_wdGcThere is also this one on Gamers Nexus -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JscRwIH3OAYI am getting some heavy fluctuation in CPU MHz and Voltage, so there are a few tests he did in the video that helped stabilize those and maybe it will be another way to help keep temps down.
A Few Hours Later:
I am getting temps with about 30% CPU usage using Premiere Pro and After Effects at 52C+/-, but the numbers change depending on what software I am using.
AMD Ryzen Master: CPU-52C
EVGA Flow Control: CPU-60C, Coolant Temp-38.1C
MSI Creator Control: 56-59C but CPU Usage is saying 3-7%
It still looks to be manageable as far as temps for now - it would be nice to figure out how to keep temps a little more consistent though.
