I have several EVGA PSUs. They consist of 650 G1, 1200 G+, 1300 G2, 1600 T2, 1600 G2.  Some of the cables have gotten mixed up.  How do I identify which cables are for which PSU?  Specifically the VGA cables. I believe the VGA cables for the 650 G1 are marked with G1 on the VGA cables.  The other VGA cables do not have any markings on them and I don't see away to identify which PSU they go with.  I believe the CPU, SATA and Perif are interchangeable between the different PSUs.

Checking in the 'Compatibility' tab for the individual cables or cable sets should help, or see Which EVGA Modular Cables are compatible with my PSU? in the EVGA FAQs.

Those references are really only good for ordering new cables. How do I tell which of those dozens of different ones are the cables I have? It would be nice if they were stamped with a part number to reference.

To be 100% sure..Digital Multimeter and the widely available pinout diagrams you can find for the component ends, unless an EVGA Tech chimes in here to tell you or you Contact EVGA Customer Service to maybe tell you.

    I agree with bob16314

testing is the best way to Go

the list of compatible cables can help ... if All the unmarked cables are in fact compatible ... including gauge of wire used .. I'd wonder if the 1600 used heavier wires ?

Note: even the SATA cables have been an issue for members .. where they killed their hard drive by using the wrong cables from a different PSU

Bob's right. If you can't tell visually then your only real option is to ask support for the PSU-side pinouts and test the cables yourself. Fortunately wikipedia does offer pinout schematics for all computer cables
