EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super XC Hybrid Vertical Screen Alignment Issues?

Posting for friend, but the issue is a vertical screen issue, where some of the image is taken from the center of the screen on put on the left side. I have attached a picture and a video.

    Is your friend using a gsync monitor if yes tell him to disable gsync to see if that will help fix the issue.

    Go under Nvidia's Control Panel.  Check and see how your screen's are configured under 'Set up multiple displays' tab and adjust accordingly.

    Yes they are using a gsync monitor, I will tell her to give that a shot, although will that affect gameplay?

    I should clarify that the problem is on one monitor.

    Disabling gsync will just make things less smooth overall.
