I'm experiencing weird audio noises in my Shadowplay recordings with the latest Geforce Experience version 3.20.4.14.  Tried different sample rates on my NU Audio Pro but no fix.  Only solution is to revert Geforce Experience to previous version 3.20.3.63.  Basically only happens when there is a load on the GPU but no issues recording desktop.  I don't have this problem at all with my other PC with a Soundblaster AE-9 soundcard.  I found out that that by uninstalling Nahimic solves the problem using v3.20.4.14.  Hope there is a fix for this on either EVGA or Nvidias end.

Having the same issue but don't think it is due to EVGA'a Nahimic software. Many others have reported problems on Nvidia's site. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/geforce-experience/14/387837/audio-distorted/

In my case my solution was uninstalling Nahimic if I wanted to keep Geforce Experience 3.20.4.14 OR keep Nahimic and revert to Geforce Experience 3.20.3.63.  Still, no problems with SB AE-9.  What was your solution?

I noticed similar. I simply disabled the Nahimic API startup items to address the issue. The only 'negative' impact is that within the Nu Audio software, you cannot use the more 'advanced' features like like audio effects or everything on the second tab. So there is 100% a compatibility issue relating to the combination of that version of Geforce Experience and Nahimic software.. my primary point was that it's more widespread than just Nu Audio cards so I'm sure there's a deeper issue here

    Hello Andrew,

We have filed a bug on this combination before.  The issue was the Nahimic software is always changing the default audio playback device.  Engineering concluded that this was not a NVIDIA bug.

I can 100% confirm this is NOT the problem in this case as I spent a considerable amount of time validating my set audio devices in the OS and all software. I in face went so far as to disable ALL audio devices except for the one output and input I use within device manager and Win Audio settings to ensure they wouldn't change.
