I got myself the Bose QC35 II and Sony WH-1000XM3. Both are either not connecting or very stuttery on output. No issues when connected to the phone.
I googled this issue and found some similar posts/issues.

Any recommendations? People been telling me to replace the the BT card, but as far as I know, it's built into the wifi on board card on the dark board.

Drivers are up to date, removed/reinstalled/rebooted, still same.

    I'm not seeing Bluetooth listed for the Z390 Dark spec sheet  https://www.evga.com/products/pdf/131-CS-E399-KR.pdfDF

    Did you build the PC yourself ?  Was a M.2 Bluetooth device installed ?

    Hmmm, I see bluetooth under device manager and as far as I can tell, the Bluetooth is implemented in to the wifi card on the board? Intel Wireless-AC 9560 (1.73Gbps), Bluetooth 5.0

    Yes, I Found it ---> Not part of the Sound circuit "1 Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 Dual-Band WiFi/BT"

    so seems to be part of the wireless

    Never found it mentioned in the Sound section of the manual though

    I have no personal experience doing BT -2- headphones - with that with this MB

    I could have missed it in the manual ... there was a lot of details for sound setups & I just skimmed the many pages

    It would probably help if you'd quit going off topic to SOUND and focus on his issues with the BT CONNECTION. He has sound, the sound is bad and stutters. This is not a SOUND BOARD OR DRIVER issue it a BT connection issue.

    As both BT and Wi-Fi use the same 2.4ghz frequency, turn down the transmit power on the 2.4ghz radio on the integrated intel WiFi chip. That might help. You can do this from device manager.
