I just got a good deal on the DG-85. After reading about the case I was under the impression I would be able to buy extra hard drive bays from EVGA. I just found out that is not the case from EVGA. Does anyone have a solution for mounting additional 3.5 hard drives in the case? I am hoping there is someone here with a 86-87 that is willing to sell one that they aren't using. Any help is appreciated but I have done quite a few searches and I can't seem to find any for sale anywhere.

I would wait for the EVGA answer. They might be able to help you out or at least give you some guidance. I am kind of wondering if the DG-7 series uses the same drive bays since visually they look about the same.

Your Case holds 2 - drives 3.5 (or) max 4 2.5 SSD (or) combo of both sizes up to 4 drives total
Your looking to add how many more drives ?
Max of 3. I am looking into other solutions right now. I may just end up buying newer hard drives and merging all of my data. It is probably the simplest solution that upgrades my computer at the same time.

I took out the 2 in my DG-87 as I don't use them or need them

Glad to see that the problem looks to be taking card of itself and members are able to help each other out.
I personally just upgraded my HDD to one with a lot more room and the cost of the HDD wasn't that bad really. It's just a standard drive I use for the files I don't access that often like photos I take and have edited. I had a drive that was still pretty good but since the new drive is a SSD/HDD hybrid I thought it might be worth it.

I found this thread because I was looking for the same thing as AzureCuzYeah. Does anyone else have a set that they would be willing to part with? Also, is it a standard size that I could find an after market set to install or maybe swap out from another case?

I have same options on Lian Li PC-O11 WXC.
Dual Bays with 2x 3.5"... For Dual SSD and One HDD I just ordered
Lian Li HD323X universal aluminium Kit for 2x 2.5" HDD/SSD to give me opportunity to remove one HDD Bay.
DG-87 have great HDD options and cool HDD Bays.
I must say DG-87 is one of highest cases on my list.
He is simply made to show hardware and to stay near wall with great cable management to compensate size of case for at lest 15cm.

Hopefully it works out for you, I removed all of the external drive bays if you need them. Feel free to PM, I'm not really concerned with selling, but you can have for shipping cost. In Texas, PM if needed.

I feel you on the need for them to sell the cages separately. I ended up going with a set from cooler master that fit reasonably well. I had to add little feet to the bottom but they bolt right in the screws on the side. They are also slightly longer. LinkHope that helps you. Good luck.

Is anyone able to provide a couple of photos and some measurements for the drive bays to help me put together a model to 3d print, please? I can't seem to find clear pictures of the drive bay towers, all are shown installed in the case so only from one angle. Could be a long term solution to anyone else looking to expand storage in these cases.
If anyone from EVGA can pull the info straight from the horse's mouth, that would be even better!
Will work on models for the 3.5 and 2.5 sleds/trays in the meantime, but fair warning, I am pretty new to this.
